Special issues or supplements devoted to a particular topic, theme, or conference are clearly labeled with the title of the topic, venue details and dates, editors and guest editors and Sponsors. You can see this information on the homepage of the relevant journal, under the specific volume or issue, or in the Table of Contents of the special issue itself.
