Environmental science is the study of the interactions between the physical, chemical and biological components of the environment, including their effects on all types of organisms. It includes the study of complex interactions that occur among the terrestrial, atmospheric, and aquatic environments and looks at the human impact on the environment. This interdisciplinary field includes the subjects: Chemistry, physics, ecology, sociology and the governmental regulations that affect or describe these interactions between the elements.
