ScienceDirect Subject Collections
Subject Collections offer a cost-effective way for ScienceDirect Complete license customers to gain additional access to the depth of content on ScienceDirect, at a significantly reduced rate.
ScienceDirect Subject Collections are annual package offerings of titles within discipline-specific journal clusters that have been established to extend researchers' access to full text of additional titles in their fields of interest. These collections offer "access only" to additional, previously non-subscribed content with full ScienceDirect functionality, for a small percentage of the list print price. No archival rights are granted for non-subscribed titles.
Subject Collection access is from the start of your existing ScienceDirect subscription, with a minimum of four backfile years plus the current year building. Your access is cumulative as long as you renew your license and subscription to the collection concerned. Subject Collections offer no continued access rights for material that was not previously fully subscribed to if you cancel your ScienceDirect license.

Titles excluded from Unique Title List (UTL), or Freedom Collection, or Subject Collections
Due to stipulations in some publishing contracts between Elsevier and various societies, the titles below are excluded from one or more discounted packages, such as Unique Title Lists (UTL), Freedom Collection, or Subject Collections. There are also some titles that are excluded due to their transferred status, whereby we no longer publish the current title issues for the society and do not have the electronic rights to make them available in Freedom or Subject collections. To avoid confusion we have compiled a consolidated list of the titles concerned.
These titles are only available at the full subscription price (print + electronic or electronic only).
