May 2011 Release Applications
On May 21, 2011 Elsevier launched several highly anticipated enhancements to its SciVerse platform. SciVerse is now faster than before – results are rendered more quickly, workflows are improved and navigation is more intuitive. Users can now find what they’re looking for more quickly leaving them extra time to devote to their other research tasks.
In addition to a growing number of applications, the latest enhancements to the SciVerse applications gallery include:
New My Applications Page
A new My Applications page accessible from the product navigation bar – where users will see all of their applications, have the ability to link to the detailed description of these applications, and exercise the option to remove personally entitled applications or hide/unhide institutionally entitled applications.
App Provider Name
Showing the App Provider name on the Gallery, enabling users to quickly recognize developers they know and help facilitate their navigation of the App Gallery.
Enhanced fee-based applications request process
Enhanced process for requesting fee-based applications where users now get a confirmation page once they complete the process of purchasing an Application
