ADVISORY BOARDS AND USER GROUPS
Journal Editorial Boards
ScienceDirect offers more than 2,500 peer-reviewed journals made up of more than 10 million articles. These are underpinned by the journal editorial boards that ensure integrity of the peer review process and editorial policies for each journal. More than 8,000 editors help to shape our journal content and advise us on tools, policies and support for editors, reviewers and authors.

Innovation Explorers
Elsevier works closely together with librarians, researchers and developers to enhance and improve SciVerse. Through advisory boards, conferences, development consultations, user-design sessions and online communities like Innovation Explorers™ we host a variety of different initiatives to ensure you are involved in SciVerse’s evolution.
Whether you prefer personal meetings or online interaction, private groups or public forums, we welcome your opinions and advice.
Innovation Explorers consists of three communities: one for librarians with 200 members, one for researchers with 500 members and a third with 150 research administrators. Each week we post new research activities for members to participate in, such as surveys, discussions and brainstorms on behalf of your colleagues at Elsevier. Members can also initiate their own discussions and activities. Feel free to log-in whenever is convenient to see real-time data and have a look round.
Innovation Explorers offer you and your colleagues the chance to interact with Elsevier’s customers in straightforward and timely way. We can typically get results in a couple of weeks from your initial request. Over the years we have researched a vast array of initiatives and topics in the community including product and coms testing, concept development, exploring decision making patterns or even reflecting on wider industry trends.
We aim to be a straightforward and low maintenance solution, and we would like to encourage you to consider the community for any customer facing initiatives you are currently engaged with.
